In the fall of 1997, we "trusted our dreams" to American Building and Remodeling when we engaged you to construct a 2-story addition to our 10 year old Georgian Colonial home. After interviewing several contractors, we chose you because you seemed to represent a good combination of honesty, communication skills, use of quality materials and genuine passion for your work.

It was truly gratifying to work with someone as pleasant as you, Michael. During numerous planning meetings, you actively sought to understand our needs whenever decisions needed to be made. You also willingly provided your own well-executed computerized drawings to supplement the architect's blueprints. Given the scope of our project, this proved to be invaluable and further solidified our trust in you. In fact, you made it seem easy, even fun and exciting at times. To say that this went a long way toward lessening our anxiety would be an understatement. We especially appreciated having our kitchen facilities maintained for as long as possible, as well as the thorough cleaning done at the work site each day. Even the contract itself reflected your keen sense of business ethics by detailing each item in terms of labor, cost and quality of materials.

The attention to detail and the excellent quality of workmanship consistently exceeded our expectations. From the excavation process, to framing and roofing, and especially the finish carpentry, your high standards were never compromised. To our surprise, you even showed expertise in the area of tile and corian installation. Without exception, we feel more than satisfied with our completed project, and would gladly recommend American Building and remodeling for all phases of any building project.
